Humans have this interesting relationship with predictability. We often try to anticipate, organise, and try to control outcomes. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with having a vision and planning accordingly, and there is something remarkable in allowing life a little breathing room, some space for the unforeseeable.
Space for possibilities.
Space for the paths that reveal themselves only when we stop trying to design every inch of the journey.
Sometimes the most meaningful experiences arrive through openness. Through partnering with Source and letting life show us what’s waiting just beyond our current perspective.
Learning From Nature’s Wisdom
Nature has always been one of my greatest teachers. The lessons are subtle, patient, and wordless and yet they speak directly to something deep within.
Yesterday, I was walking past a maple tree. Many of the trees around it had already shed their leaves, standing bare and still. Yet this maple was still holding onto its leaves, its vibrancy, glowing and preparing its energy efficient survival technique to conserve the moisture and protect it against the harsh winter conditions. The nutrients are then moved back into the trunk for storage.
It’s such a beautiful reminder that everything has its own pace.
Further along, I reached a Ginkgo biloba tree, apparently the last living species of a lineage stretching back nearly 300 million years. Imagine that! To stand beside something that ancient, something that has survived extinctions, upheavals, and entire geological eras, felt deeply grounding and humbling.
If a being can endure through that much change, that means that there is far more stability and wisdom woven into this Universe than we sometimes allow ourselves to believe.
Even with everything happening in the world with all the change, the noise, and the uncertainty, nature seems to whisper:
Trust. There is a deeper rhythm here.
Discovering Possibilities in the Present Moment
There’s a lot of talk about the present moment being the only moment there is. And that this is exactly where possibilities live. The more present we are, the more we notice the subtle openings that life places in front of us.
For myself, I’ve met people I never would have known about if I hadn’t followed the small nudges, the little breadcrumbs that felt like angels quietly arranging my path. I’ve discovered possibilities in the most interesting ways. And it’s not that these opportunities weren’t there all along, I think it’s that I started to notice them when I slowed down, when I tuned in, and allowed myself to be present.
The present moment is where life invites us to see, to act, and to co-create.
Life is a Journey of Adventure
This life is, at its core, an adventure. I don’t think we’re here to be on autopilot. I think we’re here to explore, to evolve, and be surprised. And when we trust the process, truly trust it, even uncertain paths become meaningful. The unknown stops feeling like something to fear and begins to feel like an invitation.
A Gentle Invitation for Expansion
Life is always sending us subtle invitations to expand. We can come up with all sorts of reasons why it’s “not the right time,” or that we need more information, or that the conditions have to be perfect. And yet, these invitations keep appearing, in ways only we can recognize.
The clues are personal. They’re subtle. And no one else could point them out for you, only you will be able to recognise them.
For me, one of these clues came about a year ago in the form of a song. It reminded me of my roots, of my ancestors, and of a deep call to expand. It’s from the Disney movie Vaiana 2, called Beyond.
So, here’s the question for you: where in your life have you felt the calling? Where has life quietly nudged you to step into something bigger, something new, something that’s waiting for you to notice?
Blessing,
Gamida
